Two Historic Monuments in Malayer Registered as National Heritage

MALAYER, Hamedan Prov. The two monuments of Seifodoleh Mosque and Bolour bath were registered on Tuesday as national heritage, an official in charge of cultural heritage department Ahmad Torabi said on Tuesday. Speaking to IRNA, he said that the two buildings enjoyed outstanding architectural features. The monuments date back to Qajar era, built by Haj Seifodoleh, he said. There are 128 historical monuments in the city of Malayer, seven of which have been registered as national heritage.

In related news, another monument known as Govmishan bridge in Ilam was also registered as national heritage on Tuesday, manager of the provincial cultural heritage department Arash Lashkari said on Tuesday. The bridge is 178 meter long, eight meters wide and 21 meters high and date back to Sassanid era, he said. The manuscript on the bridge have been disappeared in the course of time, said Lashkari.
