TEHRAN Central Board Supervising Councils Elections on Monday issued a statement announcing the resuls of Islamic councils elections in 16 provinces of the country including Tehran. The announcement signed by Ali Movaheddi Savoji chairman of the board reads that the competency of Mr Abdollah Nouri, Saeed Hajjarian, Mohammad Atrianfar, Ebrahim Asqarpoor and Ahmad Hakimipoor is nullified in accordance with note D of article 19. Elections in Karaj were also invalidated.

The list of the Tehran council members consist of 1- Jamileh Kadivar, 2- Fatemeh Jalalipoor, 3- Mohammad Hussein Doroodian, 4- Seyed Mahmood Alizadeh Tabatabaei, 5- Morteza Lotfi, 6- Rahmat Khosravi, 7- Gholamreza Forozesh, 8- Sadiqeh Wasmaghi, 9- Abbas Dozdozani, 10- Seyed Mohammad Qarazi, 11- Davood Solaimani, 12- Hasan Abedini, 13- Mohammad Hussein Haqiqi, 14- Seyed Mansor Razavi, 15- Yahya Al-e Eshaq. The ex-officials consist of 1- Mohammad Kazem Saifiyan, 2- Shahla Habibi, 3- Mahmood Ahmadi Nezhad, 4- Mohammad Nabi Abibi, 5- Ashraf Al-Sadat Sanei, 6- Hadi Manafi.
