Kuwait museum to host Iranian cultural week

TEHRAN -- The Museum of Modern Art of Kuwait is scheduled to host an Iranian cultural week, which will commence on May 7.
 
A large collection of sculptures, illuminations, calligraphic paintings, handicrafts and Persian paintings will be put on display during the festival.
 
A total of seventy Iranian artists will attend the festival, which has been organized by the Iranian cultural attaché office in Kuwait, to promote their works.
 
A traditional Persian music band will also give performances during the week. In addition, a group of acrobats from Zurkhanehs, the traditional Iranian sport clubs, has been invited to perform during the festival. 
 
The National Council for Culture Arts and Letters General Secretary Ali Al-Youha and Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Director Mohammad-Baqer Khorramshad will attend the opening ceremony.
