TEHRAN – Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Kinchi Komano has said that his country plans to maintain the present level of economic and trade relations with Iran despite the sanctions imposed against the Islamic Republic. 

   

Speaking to the Persian service of IRNA on Tuesday, he said that although the Western sanctions imposed on Tehran make it difficult to increase the volume of bilateral trade, Japan tries to maintain its economic ties with Iran.
