‘West seeking to slow down economic progress in Asia’

TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast has said that the West is seeking to slow down economic progress in Asian countries through undermining security in the Middle East region. 
 
Mehmanparast made the remarks during a meeting with Chinese Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Zhang Kunsheng in Beijing on August 1.
