TEHRAN – The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting representative in Islamabad left Pakistan three weeks ago after his visa was expired.

However, Pakistan has not shown any sign of intent to extend Hassan Saraei’s visa all the while, Tasnim  news agency reported on Wednesday.

Tasnim quoted UrduPoint, a Pakistani website, as having claimed that Saraei had been involved in “sectarian programs and affected Pakistan’s relations with other countries as well.”

According to Tasnim, the IRIB’s Pakistan office had in the recent past produced programs about Takfiri activities in Pakistan.
