Audio version of “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” to release in Persian
TEHRAN – Novinketab is about to release an audio version of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book for All and None” in Persian.
A tremendously influential philosophical work of the late nineteenth century, the book is also a literary masterpiece in which the prehistoric Persian religious leader Zarathustra serves as the voice for Friedrich Nietzsche’s views.
The book is currently regarded as a forerunner of modern existentialist thought that has provoked and stimulated students of philosophy and literature for more than 100 years.
The audio book recited in Persian by Afshin Yadollahi also includes various pieces of background music by composer Hamidreza Yaraqchian. Its running time exceeds 16 hours.
