Simin Sepehri ensemble to perform in Tehran

TEHRAN – Simin Sepehri, an all-female traditional Iranian music ensemble, is scheduled to give a concert at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center tonight. 

The band led by vocalist Susan Sepehri plans to perform a repertoire of 20 songs during the concert. 

The ensemble features Gazal Naserfasihi on piano, Vida Mollahosseini on cello and Sepideh Shayanrad on Tompak. 

Only an audience of females is allowed for the performance.
