Iranian films win awards at Kazan festival

TEHRAN – Two Iranian films won awards at the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, which was held in the capital of the Tartar Autonomous Republic, Russia from September 5 to 11.

Hadi Mohaqeq’s “Immortal” won the award for best film while “I Want to Be a King” by Mehdi Ganji won the award for best documentary.

In addition, the award for best cinematographer was presented Ruzbeh Rayga for his collaboration in “Immortal”.
