TEHRAN – The chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council has warned against attempts of intrusion and manipulation of the public in Iraq.

Speaking in a meeting with the leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Humam Hamoudi, Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi also underlined the development of relations between the two brotherly nations of Iran and Iraq.

Hashemi Shahroudi also put special emphasis on the role and the background of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq in the political life of the country.
