Iranian Students Rank 2nd in World Physics Olympiad

ROME Iranian students ranked second in the World Physics Olympiad by bagging five gold medals on Monday. The contest was held in the city of Padova in Italy. Student team from Russia ranked first with a very slight margin with the Iranian students. The student teams from America and China ranked third and fourth respectively. The Iranian team composed of Aidin Babakhani, Sadeq Dabiri Satri, Shervan Fashandi, Mohammad Hossein Taqavi Nasrabadi and Ali Sa'adat Meli. Dr. Ahmad Shirzad was Head of the team.
