IRGC provides dowries for 100 destitute brides

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Khuzestan Province has provided 100 destitute brides in Dezful with dowries, or jahaziyeh, which include furniture and household appliances.

IRGC Chief in Khuzestan Province Hassan Shahparvar said in a ceremony that helping the destitute and fighting poverty among other things have always been one of the missions of the IRGC, Fars reported on Monday.

He also said that in line with the instructions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, all of the purchased items of the dowries have been chosen from homemade products.
