TEHRAN – Iranian film editor Mastaneh Mohajer and her fellow screenwriter, Khosro Sina, have been selected for the jury of the 6th Duhok International Film Festival running in the Iraqi city from October 20 to 27. 

They will judge the films selected for the Kurdish Cinema competition, the organizers have announced.

American director and actress Canan Gerede is the president of the jury.

Iranian director Mostafa Gandomkar’s “Alan” won the Golden Leaf for Best Kurdish Short Film at the Duhok festival last year.
