Ansari Praises Ayatollah Taleqani's Personality

TEHRAN A Majlis deputy from Tehran, Majid Ansari, praised the personality of the late Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Taleqani and his attempts to defend Islam and Iranian people's rights during the rule of the Shah and his father Reza Khan.
Addressing a ceremony held on the death anniversary of Ayatollah Taleqani, Ansari said that such men were among those who never submitted to the aggressive men of their time.
Ansari stressed that Ayatollah Taleqani was a pioneer in introducing the real face of Islam in the Iranian society, adding that he was a major companion of the late Imam Khomeini.
