TEHRAN PAPERS

Should we believe the boasting of Israel or its fear and confusion?!

April 8, 2024 - 18:49

TEHRAN - Kayhan devoted its editorial to the critical situation of Israel and said: The Zionist regime witnessed an international outcry against it on Quds Day this year and has been caught in a crisis of self-destruction.

Also, the deadly panic caused by the fear of Iran's response has made the situation of this fake regime more critical. On the one hand, Netanyahu claims that we are fully prepared for Iran's response, but Haifa's mayor helplessly says to Netanyahu, "I don't see such readiness, why doesn't he tell us what to do?!" On the other hand, the Israelis attacked stores and bank ATMs and stored food and electricity generators for a time of fear. They are waiting for Iran's response. But more importantly, according to the media of the Zionist regime, this fear has caused a severe disintegration of the internal front of Israel. The interesting thing to note after the Leadership's statement about the "regret-causing response" is that the first place where the alert level was raised to super security was Tel Aviv and Haifa! Because the Israelis showed well with this action, they have calculated that the Leader of the Revolution had previously said, "If the leaders of the Zionist regime make a mistake, the Islamic Republic will lay Tel Aviv and Haifa to waste"!

Iran: Iran ranks second in the world with an economic growth of 5.4% in 2023

In a commentary, the Iran newspaper discussed Iran's economic growth and quoted Mehdi Hashemzadeh, an energy expert, as saying: Iran has had the highest economic growth in 2023 among the top 30 economies in the world after India. The main focus of realizing this growth has been the oil and gas sector, which played a key role last year. In terms of the development and regeneration of Iran's crude oil trade, the 13th government, focusing on extensive marketing, brought Iran's crude oil production to 3.5 million barrels per day, close to the peak of crude oil production. The price of oil also doubled at that time. In addition, Iran's strategic decision to ensure a guaranteed market for its crude oil business through refinery renovation and modernization initiatives represents a forward-looking approach to increasing the efficiency, competitiveness, and value proposition of its energy products in the global market. Therefore, Iran's economic growth in 2023 is largely related to the energy initiatives of the 13th government, which is the result of using domestic power, technological approach, and the capacity of knowledge bases.

Shargh: Agreement in the middle of the crisis?!

In an interview with Homayoun Naserian, a senior analyst of international issues, Shargh addressed the claim of the Saudi Al-Arabiya network and wrote: In a situation where the region is expecting Tehran's possible response to Israel's attack, Al-Arabiya claimed that Tehran and Washington agreed on not escalating tensions. Naserian believes that the unwritten agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America regarding the non-escalation of tensions after the Israeli air attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus is not very serious, and in the current situation, although Tehran and Washington after the Al-Aqsa storm operation had no desire to increase tension and widespread conflict in the Middle East region, and this was manifested as a common point in the behavior and actions of Iran and the United States, in the field of foreign policy, Tehran and Washington's common opinion will not necessarily lead to an agreement, even an agreement with the lights off and behind the scene. Now there is a set of actors as well as possible equations that can disrupt the Iran-U.S. agreement even if it is true.

Vatan-e-Emrooz: Iran's strategic path in isolating Israel

In a note, Vatan-e-Emrooz discussed the situation of the Zionist regime in the past decade. It wrote: The first condition that Iran was able to create for the Zionist regime by supporting the resistance groups was the creation of a civil war in the Zionist regime, a crisis which Israel also has a crisis to get out of. Iran's presence in Syria created this opportunity for Iranian commanders to create the necessary strategic and tactical bases to counter the movements of the Zionist regime near the occupied Golan. Since its presence in Syria, Iran has sought to open a new and strong front from the Golan Heights. The martyrdom of 18 Iranian advisers after the Al-Aqsa storm shows that Iran is present in the middle of the battlefield and is defending the Palestinian people. Finally, it should be said that Iran is preparing a deterrent revenge program against the Zionist regime in a situation where its long-term plans have isolated the Zionist regime and the collapse of this regime is certain.
