Foreign journalists astonished by broadcasting technology showcased in Beijing intl. expo

BEIJING- Journalists from around the world visited China Content Broadcasting Network (CCBN) 2024, an international exhibition held at Beijing Shougang Convention and Exhibition Center, on Friday (April 26).

CCBN, which is the largest broadcasting equipment and technology expo in Asia-Pacific, was held during April 23-26, showcasing the developments and future trends of television and radio broadcasting, and the audiovisual services industry.

Foreign journalists from different Asian, European, African, Latina American, and Pacific countries, who visited the exhibition in a program arranged by China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC), were really amazed by the latest technology and equipment in the sector across an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters.

The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT), and Academy of Broadcasting Science were the organizers of the event, and multiple forums were also organized for guests from broadcasting institutions, telecommunication providers, online platforms, research institutions and industry associations, on the sidelines of the exhibition. Discussions focused on topics such as technological innovation, online content, industry advancement, public services and international communication, exploring paths for innovation in the broadcasting sector.

Over 3,000 cutting-edge products in the field of audiovisual technology were also displayed online.

It was really a grand event in the broadcasting and television industry, gathering leading global technologies and innovations, demonstrating latest innovative products such as the 4K POV camera, 4K PTZ camera, and 4K NDI video encoder/decoder.

In China Content Broadcasting Network, the exhibitors and visitors explored the forefront and future development direction of broadcasting and television technology, and whether they were an industry expert or a newcomer, they found inspiration and insights there.

CCBN exhibition embarked on a new chapter in broadcasting and television technology!

As it was mentioned, China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) arranged the visit to this astonishing exhibition for the foreign journalists.

CIPCC, under the China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA), has initiated a program to build a platform for the media from countries around the world, especially developing countries, to observe China and study development in this country.

The program aimed at media exchange was halted in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

In each edition of the program, journalists from all around the world gather together to get familiar with the modern China and exchange their experiences in the field of journalism.

In 2024 edition of the program, scheduled to be held from late February until late June, over 100 journalists from more than 90 countries are participating.
