Egyptian-Iranian Talks to Boost Economic Cooperation

ATHENS Egypt's Minister of Industry, Development and Technology, Mustafa Al-Rifai, met in Cairo Monday the Iranian President's Economy Advisor Abu Talib Shalishan who is currently visiting Egypt.
Egyptian Nile-TV' Monday night reported that the two officials discussed ways to promote industrial and trade cooperation and to establish joint ventures between the two Muslim countries.
Talks also covered the holding of trade fairs in Cairo and Tehran aimed at increasing trade and commercial exchanges between Egypt and Iran.
Shalishan is leading a large trade delegation to Cairo where he inaugurated the second Iranian trade fair on Sunday.
