KERMANSHAH -- Director General of Kermanshah Governorate General for Political and Disciplinary Affairs Reza Rezaei said on Thursday that five mortar shells hit Kermanshah Wednesday evening but caused no damage. The shells struck the vicinity of Naft Square'.
He said the provincial police have launched a massive search operation to track down and arrest the suspects responsible for the attack, AFP reported.
The terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) has claimed responsibility for the attack in contact with Agence France Presse.
