TEHRAN A permanent book fair will be opened in Tehran next month on the 22nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

The book fair is the result of a joint project implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation (MJF).

According to the Public Relations Department of MJF, the fair will be held on the fourth floor of Milad Building, a newly-built 38- story skyscraper in north Tehran.

The 13th International Foreign Book Fair, to be attended by some 100 well-known publishers, will be held at Sharif University of Technology between January 14-18, announced the Deputy Science, Research and Technology Minister Mohammad Tavakol here on Sunday.

The exhibition is cosponsored by the research department of the ministry as well as universities and research centers nationwide, he said.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the fair will exhibit the books published after 1998 in various scientific fields.
