A piano concert by Neysan Rohani and Houman Talebi is to be held in Roudaki Hall on January 4-5, said the Public Relations Department of the Music Center. * The First International Exhibition of Photography, Cinematic and TV Equipment will open in Tehran on February 14. The exhibition aims to familiarize artists and owners of industries with the latest achievements in the fields of cinema and photography. * An exhibition entitled "Visual Arts 2001" is being held at the Fars Art Gallery in Shiraz. Some 140 works with the theme of "dialogue among civilizations" by Fars Province artists are being displayed at this exhibition. * According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, the cultural-artistic exhibition of Iran was highly welcomed in Ankara, Turkey. Some 10,000 residents of Ankara visited the exhibition. * Iran's Cultural Week is to open in Thailand on January 16. It will be inaugurated by the prince of Thailand. According to Mohammad-Ali Rabbani, Iran's Cultural Attache in Thailand, several exhibitions displaying Iranian artistic works will be held during the week. * An exhibition displaying unique pottery works of different Iranian cities is to open at Sa'd-Abad Art Gallery on January 4. The pottery works are from Golpourgan, Tabriz, Mashhad, Isfahan, Natanz, Shahvar, Minab, Qom and Shahreza. The exhibition will run through January 14. * The 13th Foreign Specialized Book Fair will be held in Tehran on January 14. Some 100 well-known publishers are to take part in this fair. The fair will be held at Sharif University of Technology. It will run through January 18. * A calligraphy exhibition presenting works of Azim Hadipour is being held at Ibn-e Sina Art Gallery. The exhibition will run through January 10. * Bahman Cultural Center with cooperation of UNESCO office in Tehran and Art Bureau of the Islamic Propagation Organization is to hold a concert for children and young adults today. Bahman Cultural Center is located in Bahman Sq., Rah-Ahan Sq. * Zarrabi Art Gallery is holding a painting exhibition displaying works of Mehrnaz Jalali-Qajar and her students. The exhibition will run through January 9.
