March 12, 2001 - 0:0
TEHRAN An official of the Islamic Propagation Organization (IPO) said that 2000 clerics will be dispatched to deprived parts of the country from Khorasan on the occasion of the holy month Moharram.

The IPO official in charge of dispatching clerics, Ali Karimpour, said that the clerics will talk about the reasons for the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS) and provide Islamic education to residents of villages and deprived parts of country.

He said that because of the coincidence of Moharram and the Norouz holiday this year, the clerics will be dispatched on March 23, sooner than before.
