Russia-Kuwait Ties Can Stablize Persian Gulf: Ivanov

MOSCOW Russia is hoping stronger relations with Kuwait can contribute to stabilizing the situation in the Persian Gulf, Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov told an envoy from the emirate, Sheikh Saud Naser es-Sabah, on Monday. Ivanov noted that Russian-Kuwaiti contacts had become noticeably more active in recent months, AFP quoted Russian media as reporting.
