SHIRAZ The construction operations on a 50,000-seater stadium in Mianroud, Shiraz, started.

The stadium will be constructed in a parcel of land with a 67-hectare area and the grass field, seats for fans and the needed buildings with a 15,000-square-meter built-up area will be constructed in the first phase, IRNA reported.

The officials of Physical Education Organization (PEO), the deputies of Fars Province Governor General's Office for political, security and construction affairs, and other provincial authorities attended the ground-breaking ceremony of the stadium.
