Iranian Woman Stabbed to Death by Her Husband

TEHRAN -- A woman named Fatemeh Ansari was killed by her 83-year-old husband, Hossein, in Toronto, Canada.

The motivation behind the crime is not clear, but some of the relatives of the Iranian couple said that when Hossein found out that his wife had decided to take a trip to Iran to meet her daughter, he became angry and after a quarrel he stabbed her to death.

According to another report from Toronto, an Iranian man, 46, has been arrested for injuring a police officer. Majid was having a heated argument with his son-in-law and when the police arrived to intervene, he shot and wounded a police officer. He managed to escape, but was later arrested.
