TEHRAN National boxing team of the country is to leave here for Thailand to take part in an international tournament, getting ready for 2002 Asian Games to be held in Pusan, South Korea.

The international boxing event in Thailand is to be held in early April in which pugilists from different countries will participate.

Iran will send six or seven national pugilists to the international contests, reported IRNA.

Good results in Thailand will guarantee the Iranian boxers' membership in the national team that is to compete in the Pusan-based Asian Games.
