HAMBURG Artists from all over Europe will meet this summer in the Danish seaside resort of Blokhus in north jutland to take part in the European Sand Sculpture Championships.

The sand artists will meet from June 25 to 29, the Danish Tourist Office in Hamburg, northern Germany. The works of art will stay standing until August 18 - provided they are not washed away by the tides.

About 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the competition.
