Turkish President to Visit Iran

TEHRAN Iranian ambassador to Turkey said that the Turkish president will visit Iran in the near future. The trip will improve Iran-Turkey relations, he said.
Political, social and economic relations between Iran and Turkey have improved considerably, he said adding that the bilateral trade exchange too has augmented. Export of gas from Iran to Turkey has increased to more than $1 billion, he said.
The Turkish deputy prime minister praised Iran as a good powerful neighboring country and said that Iran is important for Turkey as a communication route to Central Asian. He went on to say that Turkey is also important for Iran as a route to Europe.
"We hope that the grounds would be prepared for the expansion of commercial ties between the two Muslim countries by constructing the Gourboloq Terminal," said the Turkish deputy prime minister.
