TEHRAN - A photo and slide exhibition entitled "History of Iranian Civilization and Art" opened in the Slovak capital Bratislava on Wednesday. A group of Iranian officials, officials of the Slovakian ministry of art and culture and the curator of the Slovakia Museum attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition is being sponsored by the Iranian embassy in Bratislava, the Iranian cultural attache and the Slovakian ministry of art and culture.

One hundred photos as well as a few slides on the history of Iran and pre-Islamic and Islamic Iranian artifacts and monuments are being displayed at the 18-day exhibition.
