TEHRAN -- The expenses and revenues which was projected in the Budget for Iranian Year 1381, have been achieved in the first four months of the Iranian calendar year, showing the government's success in materializing its fiscal and monetary policies up to now in the current year.

Hossein Azimi, an economist and university professor, telling the above, added that the rise in the revenues of the government is considerable due to the recent changes in the sources of the revenue.

He said that changes imposed on taxing system and alleviation of taxes in industry sector as well as unification of foreign exchange rate have been among the positive changes in the structure of current budget.

He said that reduction of the levied tax on industry, resulted in more incentive to produce and subsequently growth in industry growth index. He further expressed hope that the current trend continues
