Iranology Stand Opens in Ashkabad

TEHRAN - An Iranology stand opened in the library of the Iranian embassy in Ashkhabad with the attendance of the Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan.
The Cultural Attache of the Iranian embassy in Ashkhabad, Gholamhossein Gholamhosseinzadeh, said that the stand has been established to present cultural and scientific information to Turkmen citizens.
It provides information about the history and culture of Iran for Turkmen professors, students, writers and researchers, he added.
Books and CDs on the history, culture, music, poetry, calligraphy and literature of Iran are available at the stand, he said.
Information on the Iranian press as well as back issues of newspapers compiled on CDs are also available at the stand.
