10 Foreign Companies to Attend Intl. Aviation Fair

KISH, Hormozgan Prov. -- Ten leading aviation companies from France, UK, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, Belarussia, Malaysia, India and Spain have announced their readiness to take part in Iran's First International Aviation Fair.

Ukraine and Russia had earlier announced their readiness to attend the fair which will be held in this southern Iranian island from October 30 to November 3.

The fair aims to introduce Iran's aviation potential, airport equipment and aerospace and aviation achievements and related technology, get first hand information on advanced aviation technology in other countries and market various aviation industry products and services.

Manouchehr Emami, managing director of Kish Trade Development Institution and organizer of Iran's First Aviation Fair told IRNA that the fair will be held on 71,000 square meters of land at Kish International Airport.

Emami said the fair will be organized in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Organization, the Aviation Industries Organization of the Armed Forces, the Islamic Republic Army's Air Force and other organizations.
