TEHRAN -- Located in the east of Gonabad city, Jaam'e Gonabad Mosque, an example of genuine Iranian architecture from 13th century C.E., is one of the main historical and cultural tourist attractions in Khorasan Province.

The structure of the building is square and has two entrance doors, two halls, as well as other parts designed for sleeping or nocturnal prayers.

Kufic inscriptions, brickwork, and plasterwork have decorated its entire structure.

Jaam'e Gonabad Mosque has been registered under number 325 at the national heritage list.
