TEHRAN -- Mohsen Farahvashi said on Sunday that the Technical Committee of Iran's Wrestling Federation (IWF) decided to dispatch Alireza Heidari and Alireza Dabir to the world event in New York.

Farahvashi, who is a member of the committee said the members unanimously agreed in Saturday's session to pit freestyle wrestlers Heidari and Dabir in 96 and 66kg classes of the world bouts in the United States.

He told IRNA the committee also released the list of wrestlers representing the country in 2003 Asian competitions in New Delhi, India.

According to Farahvashi, Mohammad Aslani, Morad Mohammadi, Hassan Tahmasbi, Reza Ramezanzadeh, Pejman Dorostkar, Alireza Heidari, and Alireza Rezaei are the representatives of Iran in the Asian tournament.

He added Alireza Rezaei will most likely compete in 120kg class of the world championship.
