-- MARDOMSALARI "Iran to Produce 1m Prides by 2007" Managing Director of SAIPA Industrial Group Ahmad Qalebani has said that the group is considering increasing the production of its Pride cars to one million by 2007. -- AFARINESH "$100m Invested in Cigarette Industry" Abdolhamid Rahmani-Khalili, the president of Iran's Tobacco Company, has said that Iran has absorbed 100 million dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI) to develop its cigarette industry. -- QODS "NIGC Head Says No Change in Gas Deal With Turkey" Mohammad Mellaki, the managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), has said that Iran would not review its oil deal with Turkey. Mellaki said the deal envisages changes in price offers under certain conditions, stressing that Iran believes the necessary conditions for price change are currently absent. -- KAR-O-KARGAR "Zanganeh Appeals to Judiciary Chief to Remove Seal on Oilfield" Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in a letter to Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Shahroudi has called for removal of the seal on the southern Mansouri oil and gas installations. -- HAMSHAHRI "Iran's Crude Oil Exports Up by 40 Percent in 7 Months" Ministry of Economy and Financial Affairs in a statement on Monday stressed that Iran's crude oil exports over a period of seven months starting March 21 stood at 87.27 trillion rials, adding that this indicated an increase of 30.9 percent compared to a similar period last year. -- KAYHAN INTERNATIONAL "Syria Says: Iran Could Join Regional Power Grid" Syrian minister of electricity Munib Saim al-Dahar said Iran could join the power network of six regional countries. The network includes Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. Al-Dahar said that Iran could join the power grid through Turkey. -- AFTAB-E YAZD "Iran's Export of Non-Oil Products to Hit $8bn by Next March" The Director of Iran's Export Development Center Mojtaba Khosrotaj has said that the volume of Iran's exports of non-oil commodities and services will reach eight billion dollars by next March.

-- IRAN NEWS "Daily Pitch Production Hits 8,400 Tons" Deputy Oil Minister and the Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Mohammad Aqaei has said that 8,400 tons of pitch are produced in the country on a daily basis. -- IRAN "Int'l Tender for 16 Blocs to Be Held Soon" Director of Exploration Affairs Department of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has said that an international tender for development of 16 blocs will be held within the next two weeks, stressing that this as part of a plan to implement the comprehensive exploration project of Iran's southern fields. -- IRAN DAILY "Major Euro Telecom Tender on Nov. 29" A huge international tender will be held in Tehran on November 29 for the two-billion-euro project to cede cellular phone SIM cards to the public. So far, some 50 companies have presented their documents for the tender. However, US enterprises cannot participate in the tender as a result of the sanction Washington has imposed on the Islamic Republic.
