Washington Should Stop Imposing Its Own Wills on Others: FM Spokesman
Asefi said that the remarks of the U.S. secretary of state regarding the upcoming meeting of the IAEA's board of governors on Iran's nuclear activities, showed the U.S. anger at the world's struggle to resolve this issue through dialogue and cooperation. It also showed Iran's honesty and transparency in submitting a complete report on its nuclear activities.
"To us it's clear that such remarks prior to the IAEA's meeting are meant to poison the atmosphere of the experts' negotiations and the process of talks and to politicize technical issues," Mehr News Agency quoted Asefi as saying.
Asefi expressed hope that the members of the board of governors would respond to Iran's goodwill and transparency in nuclear cooperation and also Iran's positive steps towards this issue and would not let any country to dictate its wills to the UN body.
"U.S. must stop useless imposition of its opinions on others. In our opinion this is the first democratic lesson the U.S. should learn," he stated. SJHS/IS END MNA
