TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Russia's epee team arrived here Wednesday to fight at the world clashes.

The saber side of Russia is scheduled to join their teammates Friday.

Azadi Sports Complex in western Tehran will play host to the world epee event and saber grand prix from July 14-16.

Swordsmen from Hungary, China, Finland, South Korea, the Netherlands, Japan, Belarus, Georgia, Germany, and Kuwait are expected here today and fencers from other participating countries will arrive Friday morning.

The events will kick off at 02:00 p.m. Friday.
