TEHRAN – Iran’s Ministry of Industries and Mines is planning to allocate the funds required for the purchase of 200 mining machinery to the nation’s mining sector this year.

The average tariff on the machinery planned to be imported from Japan is set at 20 percent. However, depending on the type of the equipment the figure would vary, an official with the ministry said on Sunday.
