TEHRAN -- An Iranian cultural week entitled “Iran, Manifestation of Spirituality in Art” is to open in Rome on September 16.

A collection of Iranian traditional artworks, handicrafts, and visual arts is to be put on display in the event, ISNA reported on Sunday.

The week will also feature film screenings, concerts, and lectures.

Several Iranian artists have been invited to give lectures on pottery, calligraphy, and painting at the opening ceremony.

The cultural week is being cosponsored by Iran’s Cultural Office in Rome and the municipalities of Tehran and Rome.
