TEHRAN, Oct. 10 (MNA) – The “Aras International Center of Payam-e Nour University” is scheduled to be established in Aras Free Trade Zone (AFTZ) following an agreement signed between the Payam-e Nour University and the AFTZ.

According to this agreement signed by Dr. Ali Ahmadi, head of the Payam-e Nour University, and Eng. Jalili the AFTZ managing director, an international center of the university will be established in the zone by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).

The university is thereafter scheduled to offer different courses of study with regards to the national and regional needs.

Also according to the agreement, the AFTZ is scheduled to both provide the necessary land area for the construction of the university and its educational, cultural and sport facilities, and also afford the required financial facilities for the creation of the university infrastructures.

The Payam-e Nour for its part will be expected to establish an educational site within a period of three years, receive and register students, and allocate a percentage of its capacity to the AFTZ university students giving them a 50% discount on the tuition fee.

In addition, during the first five years, a number of the exemplary native students will study in the university tuition-free.
