TEHRAN -- The State Inspectorate Organization will undergo changes to institutionalize national supervision, SIO Director Mohammad Niyazi said in Ahvaz on Friday.

“By reforming the SIO law, we will practice full supervision on all affairs before anything is started,” Niyazi told the Mehr News Agency.

The Parliament has endorsed a proposal to guarantee law enforcement which was presented to the Majlis by the SIO, he added.

He also noted that a special committee has been established to investigate the economic corruption cases.

A bill on joining the international Convention against Corruption is also being studied in the Expediency Council, he said.
