TEHRAN - Iran’s President Mahmud Ahmadinejad vowed on Thursday to present a bill to the Majlis proposing the establishment of a free economic zone in Islamabad-Gharb, Kermanshah Province.

He called on the Majlis representatives to support the government in passing budgets for infrastructure projects. He told the people of the Islamabad-Gharb that “The people have proved that they are vigilant and united and work together for the development of Iran.” “If today we are free and independent it is because the dear people of Islamabad-Gharb resisted the enemies in the most difficult situations.” Pointing to the importance of justice in society, the president said, “Without justice, talent will wither on the vine and different parts of the country will not find the opportunity to develop.”
