Softwareready for vote count in election, interior minister

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Interior Minister Hojjatoleslam Mostafa Pur Mohammadi said on Wednesday that the software has been provided for application of computers for vote-count in the upcoming parliamentary election.
He told reporters on the sidelines of introducing director general for the Public Relations Department of the Interior Ministry that the Guardian Council has accepted the proposal for computerized counting of the votes. ""They have agreed, in principle, to garner votes of the eighth parliamentary election. We will reach agreement on details of the plan. God willing, we will have a healthy and reliable vote counting in the forthcoming election.
