Culture minister calls Western ""news"" biased spin

ARDEBIL (IRNA) -- Western media relaying on their expertise and professional abilities are imposing biased analysis on other nations under the name of news dissemination, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Hossein Saffar Harandi said on Saturday.

Addressing a local gathering in the northwestern city of Ardebil, he said working as a journalist is a hard and ""sensitive task because an imperfect and false flow of information may change a nation's destiny."" The minister stressed those involved in news and journalism ""need to be trained in specialized schools and universities."" Harandi said training courses in journalism should be revised in order to prepare journalists to provide news and reports more properly and professionally. ""All those involved in media should be trained so that they can realize the truth among heavy waves of false reporting,"" Harandi stressed
