Iran should have positive interaction with the world: president

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said here on Saturday ""In order to build Iran, we should build the world and to build the world, we should have positive interaction with it.""
Addressing a group of university presidents and professors in, Ahmadinejad said building the world needs scientific and cultural work which should be done at universities and seminaries.""Nowadays, our mission is a very important task and our universities should have a world viewpoint in scientific and cultural affairs,"" said the president.
""Weak personalities are not appropriate to pioneer such a task and fortunately, we do not have such people at our universities.
Pointing out that Liberal Democracy is at its end and has no more reproduction, the president said the main venues of today's competition are first culture and then science.
The president urged the academics to move for 'dignity of Islam' and 'God worshipping' and present Islamic culture to the world and put the necessary questions to the world.
Stressing that there is no limitation for academic contacts between Iranian and foreign universities, except the universities in the occupied Palestine, the president said, ""We shouldn't have a passive role in this regard.""
