Speaker congratulates counterparts on Id al-Fitr

TEHRAN -- Iranian Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel here on Wednesday congratulated his counterparts in the Islamic countries on Id al-Fitr (holiday celebration marking the end of fasting month of Ramadan).
In his message he stressed that the problems of the Islamic world could be resolved only through unity.He also described the Id al-Fitr feast as a symbol of brotherhood and solidarity among Muslims.
Haddad-Adel arrives in Bosnia-Herzegovina
Haddad-Adel arrived in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Tuesday evening at the end of his three-day visit to Switzerland where he attended the 117th session of the Interparliamentary Union (IPU).
During his two-day visit to Sarajevo, the Iranian official is to hold talks with his Bosnian counterpart as well as other senior officials of the country.
Immediately after his arrival in Sarajevo, Haddad-Adel met with a group of Iranian residents in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He said preserving Islamic values and teachings was a major duty for all Muslims particularly those living in Europe.
