Baghdad: More Iranians to be freed

TEHRAN (Press TV) -- The Iraqi Ambassador to Tehran said more Iranian nationals that were kidnapped by U.S. forces in the country will be released soon.
Mohammad Majid al-Sheikh said Sunday the Iraqi government and Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, have held talks with U.S. officials to help the release of the Iranian hostages.The Iraqi official added that the pilgrims who entered Iraq illegally are held in the custody of Iraqi officials.
He said under agreements between the two countries, the Iraqi government will soon release the pilgrims.
Nine detained Iranians, including two of the diplomats abducted by American forces from the Iranian consulate in Irbil, returned home following their release on Saturday.
