TEHRAN - A group of senior Iranian journalists who were on a tour of Bahrain along with Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini met with directors of Alwasat and Al Watan newspapers on Wednesday.

Alwasat’s Editor in Chief Mansoor al Jamri said that his newspaper moderately tries to improve the people’s awareness about Iran through publishing the news and opinions obtained from sources with various political inclinations.
People of Bahrain have a positive view of Iran and support expansion of cooperation with the country in various areas, he noted.
Hosseini stated that moderation, fairness, and realism are the most important factors that contribute to the success of the media outlets.
Meetings between the two countries’ media directors and exchange of authentic news between journalists is the best way of informing people and encouraging the governments to expand ties, he added
