TEHRAN – Venezuelan Minister of Planning and Development Haiman El Troudi stated on Saturday that he will visit Iran in the near future.

Talking to IRIB in the capital city of Caracas, he highlighted the expansion of bilateral economic relations, adding he is scheduled to meet with Iranian officials on finalizing a plan for industrial development of Apure and Orinoco regions in Guárico state which has been developed by Iranian experts.
“Caracas welcomes Iranian participation in economic development programs particularly in industry,” El Troudi said.
The Venezuelan official will also meet Iranian ministers of road and transportation, industries and mines, agricultural jihad, and education.
He underlined the importance of his visit to Tehran saying, “Venezuela’s cooperation with Iran is in line with its policies towards independence from imperial powers.
