Shahroudi lauds computerization of Iran’s judicial system

TEHRAN -- Iran’s computerized judicial system can be a model for other countries, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi said here on Sunday.
In a meeting with Spanish Ambassador Leopoldo Estampa, Shahroudi noted that Iran’s Judiciary has concertedly followed the Islamic judicial system, which has led to many achievements.The use of computerized programs and the Content Management System (CMS) computer application has greatly improved the activities of Iran’s Judiciary, he added.
And judges can now conduct their judicial activities more efficiently through the use of computerized programs, he stated.
Shahroudi also pointed out that the establishment of arbitration councils has had a positive impact on the Judiciary.
Iran is ready to share its judicial experiences with other countries, he added.
He went on to say that Iran has great economic potential and the Judiciary will provide investment security for foreign investors.
Despite all the sanctions imposed on Iran, the country is making great strides every day, Shahroudi said.
Ambassador Estampa complemented the Iranian Judiciary on its achievements and praised its computer systems.
He also said that Iran is making major economic reforms and Spain is interested in strengthening economic ties with Iran
