TEHRAN -– “According to religious teachings, the ideal age to get married is 24-25,” Deputy head of Iran’s National Youth Organization (INYO) said here on Wednesday.

According to Mohammad Es’haqi, The youth between the ages of 24 and 25 are more deeply interested in getting married.
Youth’s opinion about the best time to get married has shifted dramatically over the past years, Es’haqi lamented, calling economic problems the main reason behind such delay in marriage among the Iranians.
According to the state Birth Registration Organization, there was 3% up in the country’s marriage rate in 1387 (ended March 20, 2009).
